RYLA 2025 Leadership in Action, Community in Motion  

RYLA 2025 brought the Rotary spirit to life. Hosted by the York Vikings Rotary Club with support from 45 partner clubs, the program welcomed 72 candidates for two weeks of immersive leadership development. From outdoor challenges to collaborative strategy sessions, participants discovered their capacity to adapt, lead, and support one another.

RYLA isn’t just an outdoor experience it’s a thoughtfully designed leadership curriculum. Candidates took part in team challenges that strengthened communication, planning, and problem-solving; workshops on ethical leadership, conflict resolution, and public speaking; real-world simulations that demanded calm and decisive action; and reflective sessions that turned experience into insight.

Our commitment to RYLArians continues long after the program. We’ll keep graduates connected through ongoing stories and updates, regular virtual gatherings with Rotaract voices and community changemakers, mentorship connections with Rotarians across professions, flexible opportunities to volunteer, and clear pathways into Rotaract, Interact support, and Youth Exchange.
