Tourniquets Donated to Ukraine Reach Front-Line Units

Members of York Vikings Rotary Club were honoured this month to receive a letter of thanks from Hull4Ukraine, confirming that 38 CAT Gen7 tourniquets donated by the club have been delivered to front-line units in Ukraine.

The presentation took place at Pike Hills Golf Club on 14 April 2026, with our own John handing over the donation on behalf of the club. In return, Hull4Ukraine presented the club with a plaque of gratitude and dog tags from the 3rd Army Corps one of the two units now equipped with the donated tourniquets.

Writing on behalf of the Hull4Ukraine Committee, Trustees, Volunteers and beneficiaries, Chairperson Olga Ivanova thanked members warmly, noting that the donation will help save lives as the conflict enters its fifth year.

We are proud to have played a small part in supporting humanitarian efforts in Ukraine, and grateful to Hull4Ukraine for the work they continue to do delivering aid, supporting displaced families, orphaned children, and injured personnel.

Members wishing to support future appeals can contact the club or reach Hull4Ukraine directly at hull4ukraine@gmail.com.
