YORK VIKINGS ROTARY CLUB CHARITY GOLF DAY 2024

I am writing on behalf of the members of the Rotary Club of York Vikings to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for the support you gave us at our Charity Golf Day on 9 May 2024.

The support we received came from many sources:  The York Golf Club, who worked extremely hard to ensure that the Course was in excellent condition, from our main sponsor, SAY Scaffolding Ltd, from the many generous people and firms who sponsored holes or advertised in the day’s programme; and from the many teams who came to play. It is good to know that so many people and organisations have, once again, kindly supported this major fund-raising charity event.

As a result of the contribution you and others gave, the event generated in excess of £10,000 towards our charitable giving.

I attach a copy of the final scoreboard, from which you will see it was a very tight finish, with three teams posting scores of 91 points each. Lakeside Plumbers finally won on countback, so many congratulations to them. 

We have already made arrangements with York Golf Club to repeat this event on Thursday 8th  May 2025 and we hope you will be able to join us once again, so please put the date in your diary.
